Mitchell Welding & Iron Works, Inc. is a local manufacturer of all types of products for the marine industry. We specialize in products for your bulkheads, docks, ramps and gangways. All of our products are manufacturered in-house and are sold directly to our customers. You will not find a better product for the money anywhere else.
You can also have something custom fabricated to meet your needs. Is the hinge or dock ring you bought from a local home center to small? Did it bend in the last storm? If you just need something stronger and you can’t find it anywhere, give us a call and we will make it! No job to big or too small. All of our items are made from high strength steel and hot-dip galvanized to protect from the elements, especially rust! We also carry some items in Stainless Steel!
Just a short list of In-Stock items include:
- Galvanized Tidal Rods: Tidal rods are secured to the pilings in your boat slip and are fitted with a slide ring to allow your boat lines to move up and down the the tidal flow. Our tidal rods are made from 1″ Schedule 40 pipe and are custom bend so your tie rings will not snag and rip your boat cleat out of your hull!
- Dock Hinges and Hardware: We also fabricate heavy duty hinges for your ramp, dock fingers and dock to dock connections.
- Jetski Dock Connections: We fabricate removable hinge connections to connect your jetski float or “EZ-Port” docks to your existing docks.
- Wheels and Hardware: We stock a wide variety of wheels for ramps in different sizes. We also carry all size and lengths of galvanized lag bolts, at better prices than any local hardware store. Other items include: Angles, Male and Female T Connectors, Gangway Plates, Dock Cleats, Galvanized Ring Plates and Hi Tide Brackets.
